This is the perfect size! The light has about a 6ft radius, and then and dims out another foot. It could be a little taller to be above the plants, but if you don't hammer the ground steak in all the way it helps. If your plants are tall you dont notice. I used the lighting tips volts provided on the site to make a plan and that was really helpful to determine placement and how many to order.  The quality is excellent! I purchased the led bulbs and they have a nice warm white light, not that ugly blue white. Overall I am very pleased!

I have about 18 of these mounted on the property and they have been in use for close to a year as of this date. Very high quality. I had a couple go out, but Volt is excellent with their customer service. I would highly recommend this product. The larger ones are great too but mostly for taller vegetation. These are closer to the ground which is adequate for walkways and other areas.

I am in the process of installing these on our front walkway. The winds up here are fierce and I anticipate these will hold up well to the elements.

We used this along a path in our back yard.  While it is attraactive and works well it does not give out as much light as what we replaced.  I hope it doesn't rust because it is supposed to be brass throughout. Perhaps we need a bigger bulb.

We used the 12" mini China Hats for walkway and patio illumination using the LED bulb. They look very nice are a perfect height for our application and provide a surprisingly wide area of light.
