I wanted a simple on-off timer and I bought this, not realizing it was for 20+ programs.  I had 3 different people try to set it for me, unsuccessfully, one having called the Volt people for help.  Eventually, the 1st guy came back and we figured out why it wasn't going off till 12 hours later. VERY VERY COMPLICATED, SO DON'T GET IT UNLESS YOU NEED MANY MANY DIFFERENT SETTINGS.

Once one determines how to program this time, it is an incredible appliance.  It worked so well with my Volt lighting, that I purchased 6 more to control Christmas lights in different parts of the house.  This is an amazing timer, and much easier to program than other astrological timers.  Just print the directions from Intermatic's web site.

Lots of choices.  High quality product however the instructions were not all clear in all of the steps to make this unit totally functioning.  More clarity to steps would be nice.

This timer is very touchy to program, and after resetting 3 times, timer failed.  A simple timer was purchased and works just fine

Replaced the original timer I bought from Volt this one was a little tricky to setup but the video was excellent guiding you through the process.  The customer service I received was outstanding.  I have had the timer for about 2 weeks and so far everything is doing well.

product didn't work even with help from your staff who were great timer wouldn't set up correctly.in addition the on off button malfunctioned and could not be reset. under further investigation small screw missing holding circuit board in place result on off button wouldn't operate.

I purchased two of these timers from a third party (not Volt) due to pricing. Fits nicely into Volt transformers. This timer works great once you get it programmed. I have mine come on at dusk and off at 10 pm. You can pick a different program for each day of the week if desired. Has a battery to retain program during power failures. Just ensure you have no distractions when programming as the instructions are lousy! You Tube has a helpful tutorial for programming.
