Seems like a nice, heavy transformer, similar to the FX, Kichler, etc. ones I have used in the past, although at a much better price.  I liked the idea of having such a large range of taps to choose from, but realistically when installing LED bulbs, the voltage drop, even on a 300' long run of 12 gauge, was minimal.  All in all it seems solids and performed as expected out of the box, time will tell if it lasts like the others I've installed!

Can't say much yet, unit is setup and ready to go, did alot of research on the lights, will be buying them from Volt over the next few weeks, unit seems to be very well built put her to the test soon.

The 300 Watt Transformer was perfect for my landscape lighting application.  The only thing I would change is that I would have liked to have had more room at the bottom of the transformer for all of the wiring.  I was using 7 leads and found that I barely had enough room for all of my 12/2 cable wires.  Other than that, the price was very reasonable and the quality of the transformer is excellent !!!

Transformers are not something you think about very often. You just want them to work.... that's what this transformer does. It just works. The box still looks as good as new after one year in the open. I bought the timer and the photocell and I haven't had any problems with any of them. Great products!

Ok so this is very well made i am disappointed that there is no label designating that this is a "Volt" transformer so 10 years from now it may be hard to remember where it was purchased.  Since there was no label on the front of the transform like what is pictured on the website I don't see how they can warranty this item. As mentioned in other comments it is impossible to install the wires w
