5 of 5 great product November 25, 2016
Reviewer: Linda from Jackson, TN United States
bought these because they have a LIFETIME WARRANTY!  Not much more expensive than similar ones at the box stores that fall apart in a year or two.
AND, they look great!

1 of 5 Poor design September 7, 2016
Reviewer: Brett McBride from Collierville, TN United States
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $50 bucks on the new "Clamp connect" terminal blocks transformer.  Trying to wire this system with the old style connectors is aggravating to say the least.  Almost impossible to fit multiple 12 gauge wires into a single terminal.  Not sure who designed this but you have to have very small hands and a lot of patience to successfully wire this thing.

5 of 5 solid choice September 5, 2016
Reviewer: Matthew Asplen from Reisterstown, MD United States
After three years of solid service, the second circuit breaker on my Volt transformer started to trip.  I contacted customer service and they asked that I return the unit.  They quickly sent this one as a replacement.  So far so good!  One thing I like about this model is that they have included "gender benders" for the photocell connection.

5 of 5 600 Watt Multi-tap Transformer March 31, 2015
Reviewer: Nick R from Palm Desert, CA United States
Had a new Malibu 900 Watt transformer bombed out first month. Exploring internet found Volt by accident…first call to Ian who educated me about my needs & the company…sounded impressing. I felt guilty taking so much time on the telephone…. said were not on commission only here to help our customers. Super service! And congratulation on your new baby! I'll excuse you since I called back the next day & you weren't there. Well, got more great service from David when later I had a question on final installation. Great customer service and so far all is well with all I purchased. Changed out 12, 50watt halogen bulbs = 600 watts to led bulbs = 60 watts! Looks great and like the more natural lighting affect. Thank both of you for all your direction, excellent service and great products not forgetting the lifetime warranty! Nick R in Palm Desert, Calif

5 of 5 Be careful of the punch outs December 4, 2014
Reviewer: Daniel Gaul from Baltimore, Maryland
Terse review due to 1000 char limit.

I actually purchased 300 and 900 Watt 12-15V but providing info that may apply here as well.

On main web pag, click "How to Center" link under "Help", find the "Low Voltage Layout Guide" link to get to the voltage drop formula and chart.  Using this chart I was able to determine that I could use a 12 - 15V instead of the more expensive 15 - 22V transformer.

As other reviewers, when I mounted the photo sensor - the knuckle broke.  I managed to fix it.

The transformer boxes have a punch out on the side for the photo cell as well as several at the bottom for wiring (of if the photo cell extension cable).  All of the punch outs are in reality a punch out within a punch out.  The inner is 1/2 inch.  The outer is 3/4 inch.  The photo sensor is 1/2 inch when mounting on the box.  Remove the inner punch out very carefully or it will pull the outer one with it.

4 of 5 Works Great November 22, 2013
Reviewer: doormatt from reisterstown m
I got this to replace the "professionally" installed one that burned-out after 8 or so years.||This was an exact replacement spec and connector-wise.||It was a little shorter than the original.||I do think that there should be more than 1 mounting hole on top this thing is pretty heavy.||The only problem I had was that my existing photocell connection was female and the connector in the new unit
