Item arrived in perfect condition. Transformer is extremely quiet - no hum. No-load primary current measured a low 30mA; no-load wattage about 3 - 5 Watts. Excellent

Incredibly quiet since the unit sits on an wall outside my bedroom. The old unit it replaced hummed like crazy. This one has enough power to run a very long line and works great! I will buy another very soon.

Replaced 2 300W Malibu transformers that lasted less than 3 years with this unit and the digital timer.  Easy to setup and the voltage taps give me brighter and more consistent lighting throughout my two line system.   Should have bought the transformer from Volt when I purchased all my lights from them.  The slight cost difference would have been worth it.

I purchased one of the 600 Watt transformers in May of 2011.  That was 2 years and 4 months ago.  Every single day of that time period it has operated perfectly turning my 52 yard lights on at dusk and off at 10:30 PM.  I tried the ones available through Lowe's and Home Depot and they just didn't last.  This one cost more but I'm very pleased with the performance.  It is very reliable.

Overall I am extremely happy with my New 600wt Multi-Tap Transformer.  Just a few suggestions to help make this a better product.|Photo Cell- Very Hard to Install Ended up breaking from the inside when installing. |Instructions- Better Instructions on how the Unit Works.  (Example... This has been amazing i have about 20 lights hooked up to this all different distances and it works great! The only thing i don't like is that I wish the COM ports were bigger and that if you order the photocell they already pop the hole out for you because thats kindof hard and i end of bending a scratching the stainless steel. There also should be a PVC pipe port so you can hide the wires...

This is a very high quality simple to install system. The only redesign I would recommend is the seals on the hubs but that is a minor issue. I anticipate wanting to expand to more zones now that I see the results.
