Product was defective when installed.  The first customer rep I talked to was extremely frustrating and had me rethinking my purchase. His customer skills were very frustrating. The next rep I talked to addressed my issue quickly and sent me a new build right away. I hope my future experiences with the company reps is like the second person not the first.. I paid a lot for this product to had to send to much time to get a new bulb.

switched from G4 20w to 35w 3000k very happy with my up grade for my side walk can is a big difference.

I used these in Tiki torches with great results. The color is a nice white, not blue or yellow. Highly recommended bulbs.

5 of 5 Used with the Brass Bunker Open Step Light July 13, 2016

I used these with fixtures with the flat faceplate. They were install recessed below blues stone steps.
Plenty bright! Happy with the color (3000 K)
Perhaps too bright.
I think I overcompensated with these replacement fixtures and bulbs. I'm thinking of getting the 20 W bulbs.

I should preface this by saying that I'm a professional lighting designer so perhaps my standards are out of line.
I bought this lamp for use in the open bottom, perforated shade Tranquility Brass outdoor hanging lamp. The light comes of the lamp different colors at different angles and depending on how you look at it it looks alternatively white then yellow. Not attractive. Note the you cannot return lamps at this site. Disappointing result- might be OK if the lamp is behind a diffuser or regressed deep in a fixture. I have definitely seen better.

I'm not blaming Volt but they and everyone else has got to stop advertising LEDs at 20,000 to 40,000 hours life expectancy. I've replaced several LEDs after weeks or months of use. Love them, but they don't last like they say they do.

Very nice light.  I tried the 20W Bi-Pin 3000 and it was very dim - not suitable at all for landscape lighting in my opinion.  The 3000 is warm and bright...just right.
