Interesting design, but expensive for functionality. I installed 4 flood lights in front of my house (about 75 feet in total). I ran a single line and then spliced in the floods, which were about 10 feet apart each. To splice the floods into the main cable, You need two of these for each flood light unless your two flood lights are close enough where the cable length would connect to a single spot (the default length is 4 ft, so they would need to be spaced less than 6 ft apart to make that work). It was just easier for me to buy several cheap joiners at HD that are pre-filled with silicone, paint on liquid electrical tape and then wrap in regular elec tap - total cost $10. If you do use these, then make sure you order enough. At $10 for 2 and $10 shipping, you don't want to fall short. Also, one of these connectors arrived broken as well so I couldn't use it.
