I have purchase numerous Volt transformers and I always sell them with the Volt photocell.  The transformer comes with 1/2" and 3/4" knockouts although the photocell only needs the 1/2" knockout. Its very difficult to remove the 1/2" without dislodging the 3/4" as well. Please either make the photocell that is 3/4" or eliminate the 3/4" knockout.

The 150 watt transformer performs perfectly.
I have been using volt outdoor lighting for a couple years now. Everything we have purchased has work very well . It is a built with superb quality.
Customer service is also very good.

I have had this in service for a few months now, with no problems. The looks and construction of the unit is top notch. With using the LED bulbs I still have wattage available for future.

I have a total of 4 transformers around the outside of my home & the Volt transformer is the best made/designed of all of them. It is easy to hook up and the swing door makes for easy access. The stainless steel case provides a nice clean look as well as durability. Although it took a little effort, I didn't really have any trouble with the "knockouts". I don't think you can beat Volt transformers in price or warranty [and that goes for their bulbs and fixtures as well]!  Landscape Lighting World gives 120% in customer service, I've never purchased from a company that has better customer service!

Just ordered this and received it 1 week ago.  Find out I payed $159.  Now its on sale for $129.  Not happy at all but it is what it is, definitely will reconsider ordering from here in the future.

4 of 5 Great Transformer - Case has design flaw March 13, 2016

The transformer itself works great - I ended up buying two of them for my project so I got to know them really well. My only complaint is the knockout on the side for the photocell. There is an inner and outer ring. You're supposed to knock out the inner ring, leaving the outer one attached to the case. No matter what I tried, the outer one ended up coming out with the larger one - and then the photo cell won't fit (hole is too big). Ended up going to the hardware store and getting reducing washers to make this work - but it's really a design flaw. Either make it so the photocell will fit in the larger opening, include a reducing washer in case both come out, or (best option) have the knockout only have one option, not two in one.

The Transformer case looks great and wiring it was a cinch.  Be sure to check the video and connect wires before hanging to avoid bending over double to tighten screws!
