Ordered 3 of these to complete a landscape project. Using these took my project 5x longer to finish.  The Wago clamps are EXTREMELY hard to operate.  If you are using more than a couple fixtures, while your attempting to insert wires, the wires from the other fixtures will come out.  If you are using 12/2 wire as your home runs,  you will want to throw these things as far as you can. They are also very shallow for fixture wires.  It's a great concept, but a VERY poor design from an otherwise stellar company.  I also don't believe the video from Volt showing the connectors operating flawlessly. I don't think that's the norm.  All three of mine are nearly worthless. On a positive note, the transformer is bulletproof.

The connectors in this product appear to be Wago Chassis-Mount Terminal Strips with Push-in CAGE CLAMP®.  According to the Wago Web site, these connectors are designed "For factory wiring, Push-in CAGE CLAMP® Connection Technology allows solid conductors, fine-stranded conductors WITH FERRULES or ultrasonically bonded conductors from 20 … 12 AWG (0.5 … 4mm2) to be terminated by simply pushing them into the unit (length of bonded conductor end: min. 7 mm)."

In all my experience with this hub echos that of others who have posted negative comments.  I bought four and three will be going back.  I'm going to  try the Micro-Junction connectors and/or the "Zone Control" junction box, perhaps the two in combination to keep the connections above ground.

Pros
1. No silicone!  I love the idea of being able to maintain without silicone.  Also keeps cost down.
2. Above grade.  Not all installs can be easily hid below grade.  This eliminates the problem.
3. Ground or hardscape.  Handy to be able to use either stake or mount.
4. Covered lid.  
5. Wire block.  Much easier to manage than a gang of huge nuts.
Cons
1. Wire insert rubber grommets.  These are not secure enough to withstand either pushing wire through to break the initial seal.  12/2 direct burial with heavy insulation definitely gave these grommets a hard time and forced me to reinstall almost everyone used.
2. Wago Wire blocks. These are some of the most reluctant I’ve ever used.    Channel lock pliers helped.
3. Hub height/depth.  Working with the hub is a challenge.  Volt should make the hubs taller to accommodate holding more coiled-up wire inside the hub.

I love the idea of these hubs, and installed 5 in our yard. It helped with electrical distribution absolutely. I found them slightly difficult to insert wires into them, but probably a user issue. I have large fingers, so it was a bit tough for me. But the product itself is nicely built and works great to isolate sections of the yard.

Very difficult to open wire connectors to fit the end of the wire into junction box. Had to use a pliers and still had a very hard time getting the end of the #12 wire into the opening.

First, this is much bigger than I thought it would be (about the size of a soup can).  Well made.  Very easy to use.  Not sure why some reviews complained of difficulty squeezing the connectors to insert the wires.  I got 4 of these and they were all very reasonable to do by hand and required no special tools or pliers to squeeze them.  Very secure connections.  Don't use anything bigger than a #12 wire for your home run or it won't fit.

I used this for up-lighting in an area that spanned 15' by 3'.  Buy the fixtures with the longer leads and run your primary to the junction.  Primary was 12 gauge and fixtures were 14 gauge.  All fit well in the junction box.  Obviously, the 14 gauge was a better fit, but the 12 fit just fine.  By far the best way to connect multiple fixtures in a relatively small area.

I found this to be a convenient and clean solution. The connectors are tough, but I used  nose pliers to pry the wire opening. Just make sure that the wire is no thicker that 12 gauge--14 is better.
