Wide Spread Flood Filters (1", 2", & 3" Diameters)
New Micro-Lens Technology! Ordinary diffusion filters are highly inefficient because they scatter light in all directions. This new diffusion material is constructed with micro-lenses embedded in a clear material. The result is highly controlled diffusion with a minimal loss of light intensity. Four filters are available in three diameters. They convert narrow (12º), medium (38º) and wide (60º) beams to wider beam angles (see chart below).
Note on Part Number: This product (VAC-F800-CL-P) is the same material identified as VLS-802-CLF in diffusion charts.

- Infiniti G2/G3 Installation Note: Before inserting this lens in fixture, remove the center button (conceals optic set screw). This button is not required and, when removed, allows the lens to lay flush with optic.

Q. Are these UV-resistant?
A. Yes, sunlight will not cause this filter to change color.
Q. How do I know what fixtures these filters work with?
A. These filters can be inserted into any fixtures that use MR11 or MR16 lamps (use 1" and 2" filters respectively). They also work with VOLT Infiniti fixtures (Infiniti 30 uses 2" filter, Infiniti's 40 and 60 use 3" filter).
Q. Is heat a concern with these lenses?
A. Yes, these filters are only rated for use with LED fixtures. They should not be used with tungsten halogen lamps.
Q. Can I retrofit these in my existing Non-Volt fixtures?
A. Yes, as long as the size of your current fixture is one of the standard diameters we carry and uses an LED light source. You can effectively turn any fixture with a beam spread under 80 degrees into an 80 degree wise flood.
